South Dakota State University a Winner in Human Powered Vehicle Competition at E-Fest West sponsored by The American Society of Mechanical Society, ASME
Team Won First Place in Men’s Speed Event
NEW YORK, March 22, 2017 – South Dakota State University performed impressively at the Human Powered Vehicle Competition held last week at the ASME E-Fests West in Las Vegas, winning three awards including the first-place finish in the men’s speed event. https://efests.asme.org/
In addition, South Dakota State took third-place prizes in competition categories for innovation and best overall vehicle. Twenty collegiate design teams participated in the international competition, held at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and sponsored by The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). www.asme.org
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas, was the proud host of E-Fest West, one of three multi-day festivals that allow engineering students to showcase their technical skills while connecting them to thought leaders and practicing engineers for career advice and guidance.
