Video: STEM in Action: FIRST Robotics Competition, Part 1

Over 200 students from around the world showcased their robot-building and engineering skills during the NYC FIRST Robotics Regionals championship held March 7-9, 2013, at the Jacob Javits Convention Center, NY. As teams worked with their mentors to repair and refine their robots, their excitement and passion for the competition was evident. In the end, it was metal against metal competing to throw Frisbees and climb a pyramid. A series of competitions occurred throughout the three-day event, culminatingin teams advancing to compete in the FIRST Championship, April 25-27, in St Louis, MO.
