Join the Boston Section for a virtual presentation on April 1st! Dr. J.-C. Liou is the NASA Chief Scientist for Orbital Debris. He also serves as the Program Manager for the NASA Orbital Debris Program Office within the Astromaterials Research and Exploration Science (ARES) Division at the Johnson Space Center. Previously, Liou's research focused on orbital mechanics, dynamics of asteroids, comets and interplanetary dust. Currently, Liou's work involves orbital debris environment modeling, in-situ measurements, laboratory impact tests and mitigation policy development.
