ASME BPV III Division 5 Workshop on High Temperature Reactors, Day 1

Description

You will learn about what advanced reactor developers need to know about the High Temperature Reactor design rules, how the High Temperature Reactor rules differ from Section III, Division 1 rules for design, Failure Modes, Materials, Regulatory Acceptance, How to design reactor components with modern analysis tools and follow code rules, how to introduce new high temperature materials into the code. Opportunities for collaboration: Learn from other reactor designers who have an opportunity to give an overview of their technologies; Discuss possible improvements and additions to the code that are necessary for advanced reactor designs; Learn how reactor vendors can get involved to influence code rule development. ASME is currently soliciting requests for presentations during the workshop.
