Join the ASME Columbia Basin Section on Saturday, June 18th as we take a tour and learn about wine making at the Terra Blanca Winery in Benton City, WA. We will take a tour of their facilities and learn how engineering impacts the process of making wine. This will be followed by a no-host lunch at the Vineyard Grill at the winery. Guests are welcome. Perched on the southwest slope of the nationally acclaimed Red Mountain, Terra Blanca’s Tuscan-inspired architecture includes scenic barrel caves and a beautifully appointed tasting room. Founded in 1992, 300 acres on Red Mountain near Benton City, WA have been turned into a premier winery in Washington. Over the years, the winery has added Barrel Caves, tasting rooms and a restaurant. The current facility opened in 2006.
