Join the ASME Metro Detroit Section for a “rivet”-ing virtual event! Learn about the instrumental role of women, Detroit, and the auto industry in winning World War II, and how the world never looked back, opening the door for women to join the workforce of the future. Hear from guest speaker Vivian Larsh, whose Rosie the Riveter mother inspired her to be a female pioneer in construction and trucking management. Join in the discussion of how history shaped the modern presence of women in engineering and the automotive industry. We Can Do It! Featuring guest speakers Jeannette Gutierrez and Vivian Larsh of the American Rosie the Riveter Association.
