Description
ASME Milwaukee members and guests will tour the combustion research facilities at Marquette University. The tour will include a diesel engine test cell and an optical accessible rapid compression machine. Emphasis will be on using low carbon fuels such as alcohol, natural gas, ammonia and hydrogen in heavy duty diesel engines. The seminar and tour will be presented by Dr. Adam Dempsey, an assistant professor at Marquette University in the mechanical engineering department. A buffet dinner will follow at 7:30.
