ASME Minnesota Section: Combustible Dust Risk, Requirements and Mitigation in Air Material Separator Systems
February 09 6:30PM - February 09 8:15PM, 2022
09 February 6:30 - 09 February 8:15, 2022
Description
Join the Minnesota Section on February 9th for a presentation providing insight on Combustible Dust Risk, Requirements and Mitigation in Air Material Separator Systems. Dust collection and conveying systems are a need for many industries including manufacturing, power generation, HVAC, and process/food industries. They may appear to be simple duct designing projects, lack of understanding of combustible dust and associated hazards, may trigger fire and explosion resulting in severe life-threatening accidents. The engaging subject will reveal various industries with these hazards, recent industry losses, combustible material behaviors, specific applications at risk, current and evolving regulatory requirements for life and property protection, and industries solutions for protection and mitigation.
