Description
Failure Modes and Effect Analysis (FMEA) is a tool used to identify possible failures along with control plans to detect and avoid impending failures. This tool would be used with engineering design and development projects for both products and manufacturing processes in new as well as existing projects. For the best success, it will require active involvement of design and manufacturing departments as well as others. Attendees will walk away with key concepts of FMEA and the role of Engineers to use this tool in the planning stages ensuring effective risk-mitigation and controls.
