Join ASME New Orleans and speaker Omar Morales to learn about the battery landscape, upcoming technologies, and where the industry needs Mechanical Engineers. Bio: Omar is the Director of Operations and Project Management at Advano. Prior to Advano, Omar was selected as the deputy project manager for some of the world's largest offshore oil and gas platforms. He has directly managed over a half-billion dollars worth of engineering, equipment, and construction scope. He is excited about bringing his expertise in operations, engineering design, and construction to develop manufacturing facilities for Advano. Omar graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering and is also the Founder of an online community for engineering project managers. He has his certification as a Professional Engineer and is a member of the Association for Project Management (APM ) level 1 accredited. When he’s not busy at Advano, he enjoys hiking, camping and skiing with his wife, Phoenix and their sons, Amias and Judah. We hope you'll join us.
