ASME Santa Clara Valley Section: Machine Learning to Predict the Performance of a Double-Sided Cooling Plate
February 10 7:00PM - February 10 9:30PM, 2022
10 February 7:00 - 10 February 9:30, 2022
Description
Dr. Azita Soleymani, Director at Electronic Cooling Solutions Inc., presents Machine learning to predict the performance of a double-sided cold plate. The emerging intelligent autonomous system in vehicles are increasingly complex. Packing more functionality into smaller footprints increases the heat density and thermal challenges. In the talk, the hydraulic and thermal characteristic of the TESLA AUTOPILOT HW 2.5 MODEL 3 Y will be discussed. The step-by-step tear down process of the unit will be presented. The results from a set of high fidelity CFD simulations representing the unit will be shown.
