Join the ASME South Texas Section on Jan. 19th for an upcoming lecture, "Axiom Space & the New Low Earth Orbit Economy". Presented by speaker Matt Ondler. Matt sits at the head of Axiom’s engineering organization. He directs the company’s development of the world’s first commercial destination in space to provide a next-generation microgravity platform and provide for a seamless transition from the International Space Station in low-Earth orbit. Matt also served a variety of roles during a two-and-a-half-decade career at NASA, culminating as NASA JSC’s Assistant Director of Engineering responsible for all advanced exploration systems development. He has 35 years of engineering and management experience that includes, most recently before Axiom, founding and growing robotics and intelligent automation company Houston Mechatronics, Inc. as President/CEO.
