Join a Fireside Chat on Using Innovation to Predict and Prevent Emerging Infectious Diseases

On October 25th, 11:00 AM ET, Johnson & Johnson Innovation (‘JLABS’) is teaming up with the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) to discuss their joint initiative BLUE KNIGHT during a free, public fireside chat. BLUE KNIGHT offers emerging life science companies an opportunity to join the JLABS incubator ecosystem and utilize additional benefits from BARDA. Companies with mutual alignment to the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies’ and BARDA’s areas of interest are encouraged to attend the virtual chat to learn more about the application process and benefits of joining the program.

Opportunities are available at the Blue Knight Hub in JLABS @ Washington, DC, and at various locations on the east coast, including NYC, Boston, and Toronto. Blue Knight companies receive exposure to the full breadth of benefits offered by the Johnson & Johnson Innovation ecosystem, including third-party services, educational events, access to mentorship from experts across the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies; and unique benefits for Blue Knight including fee assistance and mentorship from BARDA.

Included in the fireside chat will be a panel discussion featuring the following speakers:

  • Michal Preminger (moderator), Regional Head, East North America, Johnson & Johnson Innovation
  • Rachel Rath, Director, BARDA Alliance, Johnson & Johnson Innovation – JLABS
  • Justin Yang, Director, Catalyst Office in the Division of Research, Innovation, and Ventures (DRIVe) Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA)
