Join ASME and the White House for a briefing on CHIPS and Science for Mechanical Engineering

Join ASME Government Relations and the White House CHIPS for America team for a discussion on the implementation of the CHIPS and Science Act. This historic piece of legislation dedicates over $52 billion to incentivizing investment in U.S. semiconductor manufacturing capacity and directs creation of new R&D and engineering workforce development initiatives. ASME has been a strong voice on Capitol Hill in favor of the CHIPS Act and maintains an active role in advocating for policies that increase the production and availability of semiconductors for American industry.

CHIPS for America staff members will conduct presentations and answer questions on the program and how funding is accessed and distributed.  This includes  updates on the CHIPS National Advanced Packaging Manufacturing Program (NAPMP) and the newly proposed CHIPS Manufacturing USA Institute.
Stay tuned for more information and ways to access this event.
