Illuminating the dark side of the moon

At the lunar south pole, there are permanently shadowed regions and deep craters that are potentially hiding ice and other valuable resources. ‪@HoneybeeRoboticsLtd‬  together with ‪@blueorigin‬  have created a portable, flexible, and deployable solar array to support human and robotic exploration on the moon’s surface. It’s called Diablo- short for Deployable Interlocking Actuated Band for Linear Operations, and it can harness the almost perpetual energy from the sun. When this technology is deployed, there may no longer be a dark side of the moon.
