More and more cities are using digital twins as an urban planning tool. Orlando, Fla., is one of the latest, building its twin on an open-source gaming platform that represents the city and the entire region. It will allow developers to load plans into the twin and simulate its effect on the local neighborhood. Singapore is farther along in its effort to map and load a digital twin of the entire nation-state.
