Nuclear energy is now seriously being considered as a critical part of decarbonization within the electric utility industry. The development of small modular nuclear reactors and their promise to deliver baseload power has even begun to change some minds in environmental advocacy groups. Greg Boerschig leads the Tennessee Valley Authority’s Clinch River nuclear project, and he talks about TVA’s nuclear plans and commttment to nuclear energy.
