ASME president Victoria Rockwell discusses the crisis in STEM education in the U.S. and looks at the future of engineering, in particular, the global humanitarian efforts that have increased significantly in recent years.
Victoria A. Rockwell is president of ASME and is director of Investment Development Process for Houston-based Air Liquide USA, LLC. A fellow of ASME and active member for 31 years, she has held numerous leadership positions in the Society, including a term on the Board of Governors and as senior vice president of Strategic Management. Rockwell currently serves on the ASME Committee on Finance and has served on the board of directors of The ASME Foundation.
