Video: Joseph A. Falcon: Honorary Membership Recipient

Joseph A. Falcon, founder and senior partner of J.A. Falcon & Associates, has six decades of experience in the energy field and parallel careers in industry and academia. He is a past president of ASME and was an initiator and member of ASME's Board on Minorities and Women and the Leadership Intern Program. He has been an expert witness on power plants and a project engineering manager for Bechtel Power Corp. He was designated a distinguished lecturer at the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Engineering Extension Division and helped to develop its Power Engineering Program, of which he became administrator.

As ASME fellow, he has been active at all levels of the society. He earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn, now part of New York University NYU-Poly, and a master's degree in mechanical engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. He received a Certificate in Business Management from UCLA.
