2024 ASME B31 Forever Medal for Excellence in Piping Recipient

Peter Deubler received the 2024 ASME B31 Forever Medal for Excellence in Piping During 2024 B31&NM Code Week in Charlotte, N.C.
During 2024 B31&NM Code Week in Charlotte, N.C., R. Peter Deuble, received the 2024 ASME B31 Forever Medal for Excellence in Piping. He was presented the medal by the 2022 recipient and Becht CEO, Charles Becht IV.

R. Peter Deubler, P.E., Life Fellow ASME, advisor for Becht has over 50 years’ experience in the power industry in the principal areas of piping, supports, and mechanical engineering.
The ASME B31 Forever Medal for Excellence in Piping is a Committee Award that was established in 2010 that is awarded for distinguished contributions in the field of pressure piping including but not limited to leadership, technical, research and development, and publication efforts that have had a significant impact on the content, development, promulgation, and expansion of ASME B31 piping standards. 

R. Peter Deubler, P.E., Life Fellow ASME, advisor for Becht has over 50 years’ experience in the power industry in the principal areas of piping, supports, and mechanical engineering. Deubler is an active member of ASME Code Committees for over 40 years His is a member of the B31 Piping Standards Committee, B31.1 Power Piping Subcommittee, and the B31 Materials Technical Committee. Pete spearheaded the development of and wrote most of B31T. Pete is also a member of the Section III Standards Committee, and many subcommittees and the B&PV Code TOMC, and recipient of the Section III Outstanding Service Medal and B.F. Langer Nuclear Codes and Standards Award.
