ASME.org Editorial Team Wins Silver EXCEL Award

Association Media & Publishing, the premier member organization for the association media community, has selected ASME.org's editorial team as the winner of the Silver Award in the organization's 2013 EXCEL Awards competition. The award recognizes the team for overall editorial excellence in web publishing.

Submitted by ASME.org Editor David Walsh on behalf of his team, which includes Managing Editor Chitra Sethi and Senior Editor John Kosowatz, the entry for ASME.org editorial content was among 900 entries from web editors nationwide. The honor will be bestowed at the 33rd Annual EXCEL Awards Gala on June 10 in Washington, D.C.

"This validates what I've always known: That the ASME.org editorial staff is a talented group of top-notch editors," said Walsh.

Nick Ferrari, the editorial team's supervisor, concurred. "This prestigious award epitomizes a team effort and is a tribute to the enthusiasm and solid efforts of our talented editorial staff," added Ferrari, director of Publishing Development and Media Sales.
