Presentation-Only Abstracts for IMECE 2020 Due in July

ASME 2020 International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition® (IMECE) organizers are currently accepting presentation-only abstracts. The event, ASME’s largest research and development conference, will focus primarily on mechanical engineering and also include insights from many other engineering disciplines. The deadline to submit an IMECE 2020 presentation-only abstract for an oral or poster presentation is July 13.

IMECE 2020 will take place from Nov. 15-19 at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Ore., and will encompass 17 technical tracks addressing an expansive range of topics, including acoustics, vibration and phononics; advanced manufacturing; and advanced materials design, processing, characterization and applications.

Other IMECE technical tracks will explore subjects like advances in aerospace technology; biomedical and biotechnology engineering; design, systems and complexity; energy; engineering education; fluids engineering; heat transfer and thermal engineering; mechanics of solids, structures and fluids; micro- and nano-systems engineering and packaging; and safety engineering, risk and reliability analysis.

The technical program will also feature the ASME International Undergraduate Research and Design Exposition, a unique National Science Foundation (NSF) forum track, and a research posters track.
