Mohinder Nayyar to Lead Training Program on ASME B31.1
Apr. 29 To May 1 In New Orleans
NEW YORK, Feb. 7, 2013 —Mohinder L. Nayyar, P.E., will present a new three-day ASME MasterClass to provide in-depth knowledge on the design requirements of the ASME B31.1 Power Piping Code and its application.
The Hilton New Orleans Riverside Hotel in New Orleans is the site for the MasterClass, titled "Design and Selection of Materials for B31.1 Power Piping" and featuring case studies and active group discussion.
“My ASME MasterClass is aimed at those who want to completely explore the applications. I will cover the selection of suitable and economical materials for miscellaneous power piping systems as well as the certification of boiler external piping (BEP) and non-boiler external piping (NBEP) systems,” explained Nayyar, who has more than 45 years of experience in power plant design.
Nayyar said his training event aims to benefit engineers, designers, material suppliers, fabricators, installers, and procurement and quality assurance professionals involved in the design, manufacturing, fabrication and installation of power piping systems and inline piping components that are required to comply with ASME B31.1 Power Piping Code and referenced standards.
“The entire training event is structured on the assumption that participants have a knowledge of B31.1,” added Nayyar.
