The design of rehabilitation devices can be challenging when considering the patients daily life activities, the interaction with therapists and physicians and, above all, safety— but with new developments patients can heal faster and efficiently. Alejandra Sandoval Vazquez, Industrial Engineering student at the University of Texas at El Paso shares the project she and her advisor Dr. Vargas Hernandez are conducting on safety ergonomics design.
